The newly appointed Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank, Dr. Vishwanath Paudel, had a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel. The newly appointed Governor Paudel reached the Ministry of Finance this morning and had a meeting with the Minister of Finance Paudel.
On this occasion, Finance Minister Paudel congratulated the newly appointed governor and wished him a successful tenure. Finance Minister Paudel expressed his belief that the governor will take important and successful initiatives in solving the problems that have arisen in the economy and monetary sector by coordinating the financial policy and the monetary policy.
Newly appointed Governor Paudel said that the Ministry of Finance will lead the country's economy and Nepal Rastra Bank will support the implementation of the financial policy through monetary policy. He said that he will emphasize the supervisory capacity of the National Bank for the effectiveness of the financial sector.
