The NEPSE index, which measures stock trading, fell by 7.94 points on Wednesday. Compared to the previous day, the overall NEPSE decreased by 0.29 percent and closed at 2,669.51 points.

NEPSE, which closed with an increase of 49 points last Tuesday, decreased on Wednesday. Out of those that came into trading on that day, the share price of 93 companies increased, 153 decreased and one remained stable.

23 million 26 thousand 245 shares were bought and sold in 88 thousand 121 share transactions. A transaction worth 10 billion 69 million 86 million rupees has been made in those purchases. Compared to the previous trading day, the trading amount has increased. Shares worth Rs 7 billion 31 crore were traded in the stock market last Tuesday.

Among the 13 subgroups that came into trading on Sunday, the indices of banking, development banks and collective investment funds increased. According to NEPSE, the index of the rest of the subgroups has decreased.
