The Nepali Congress has drawn the attention of the Finance Minister to allocate the budget for the promotion of entrepreneurship in the budget of the financial year 2082/083.
The Nepali Congress Library and Party Study Resource Center Department and the Entrepreneurial Congress jointly handed over the suggestion of the budget and policy dialogue program to Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel, and the Congress drew attention to the promotion of entrepreneurship.
Finance Minister Paudel, who is preparing the budget, has been suggested to fully implement the start-up policy to promote entrepreneurship, to provide low-interest loans, tax exemptions, etc. Urging to pay attention to tax reform, Sivakoti said that double taxation should be eliminated and single-door system should be implemented, accountability should be increased in tax office and digital tax system should be developed.
In the report submitted to the finance minister, there are strategic suggestions for improving education, giving special attention to the agricultural sector, tax reform, promoting entrepreneurship, etc. He said that the implementation side will be strengthened by creating a proper environment for that.
While presenting the recommendation report, Ashwin Sitaula, president of the Entrepreneurship Congress, said that it is necessary to create a common opinion through effective discussion among stakeholders on the issue of entrepreneurship. Mohan Gajurel, Secretary General of the Entrepreneurship Congress, said that he will continue to push the government for the effective implementation of entrepreneurship issues.
