The Supreme Court has ordered that the interim order given earlier to stop the construction of cable car at Pathibhara in Taplejung should not be continued. A bench of Justices Nahkul Subedi and Abdul Aziz Muslim said that the earlier interim order should not be continued.
After the preliminary hearing on the writ petition filed by Yam Bahadur Limbu and others last March demanding to stop the construction of cable car in Pathibhara, the Supreme Court ordered to keep all the operations as they are until the interim order is decided.
The bench of Justice Saranga Subedi had asked both sides to discuss whether to issue an interim order or not. After the discussion of the two sides, Dr. The bench of Nahkul Subedi and Abdul Aziz Muslim said that no interim order should be given. With this order, the way is now open to proceed with the construction of the cable car.
The construction of cable car in Pathibhara was started with the investment of IME Group.
