Maoist Deputy General Secretary and Member of the House of Representatives Barshman Pun has commented that the government is trying to put in the budget programs by presenting vague policies and programs for the next financial year.

During the policy and program discussion in the House of Representatives from Monday, Pun, who is also the former finance minister, speaking on behalf of the amendment, said that the government is trying to bring the budget by deceiving the parliament. He explained that only the policy was mentioned and the program was not included as the intention of the government.  

The previous government led by Pushpa Kamal Dahal had made an agenda to discuss the principles and priorities of the budget three months ago and after sufficient discussion in the parliament, he said that the current government has destroyed it.

In the past, policies and programs were presented simultaneously. This time only the policy was presented, the program was not presented. What has caused doubts is that on the one hand, the government does not want or is unable to work hard on the new policy. On the other hand, it seems that they are trying to manipulate the budget enough. On the other hand, it is not right for the government to hold its own programs by deceiving the parliament. "Parliament cannot be tricked", he said, "What happens to social justice programs because of abstract policies?" What about the programs related to women, Dalits and tribes? What about daughters? What about irrigation? What is the program for the backward areas like Karnali and Sudurpaschim? That is not clarified  . Sakar's incompetence has been seen in this.' 

He commented that such policies and programs did not advance any program to run the economy in crisis.  Policy and program aimless  Pun accused the government of not only being confused but also trying to back away from some obligations. Discussing that the constitution talks about socialist-oriented economic policy, he  He said that being socialist means at least increasing the responsibility of the state in education and health. Attempts were made in the past. Now the government is trying to withdraw from that responsibility," he said. Similarly, Pun criticized that the government has not brought a concrete program to bring Nepal out of the gray list related to wealth laundering. 

We have been placed on the gray list due to lack of improvement in property laundering in the real estate sector, fraud and irregularities in the cooperative sector and political and administrative corruption in various sectors. What is the policy to get out of it? What is the program? The Prime Minister and the Finance Minister had said that we will come out of the gray list not a year before that. Here in the program, they have said two years," Pun said, "In abstract form, they have said two years. In 083, if this coalition is to continue, there will be another government, the current government does not have to do it. Maybe it is meant to be said that it will go to his head when he becomes the next prime minister, there is also doubt about it.'
