In order to reduce air pollution, the government is going to implement Euro 6 standards for vehicles running on petroleum products.
On Friday, at the joint meeting of the House of Representatives and the National Assembly, the President read out the government's policy and program for the coming fiscal year 2082/83. Ramchandra Paudel has said that he will implement the air quality plan.
"Through integrated watershed management, attention will be given to water storage, soil erosion control and restructuring and restoration of damaged land," he said, "Relief system will be integrated with insurance system while reducing human-wildlife conflict." He said that the environmental study and assessment process will be simplified.
