The NEPSE index, which measures stock trading, fell by 15.08 points on Tuesday. Compared to the previous day, the overall NEPSE decreased by 0.57 percent and closed at 2,631.98 points.

NEPSE, which decreased by 14 and a half points on Monday, followed the same trend on Tuesday as well. Out of those that came into trading that day, the share price of 57 companies increased while 188 companies decreased. 

1 crore 84 lakh 91 thousand 941 shares were bought and sold in 66 thousand 265 share transactions. Shares worth 7 billion 57 crore 52 lakh rupees have been traded in that purchase . Compared to the previous day, the transaction amount has also decreased . On Monday, there was a transaction worth 8 billion 91 crore 28 lakh rupees in the stock market.

Out of the 13 sub-groups that were traded that day, there was a slight improvement in the collective investment fund, but the index of all the rest decreased by a high score . As the index of several sub-groups fell by high marks, there was a double-digit decline in the overall NEPSE .
