Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel has said that the responsibility of capital expenditure lies with the relevant ministry. In the meeting of the Ministry-level Development Problem Solution Committee held at the Ministry of Finance, Finance Minister Paudel said that the responsibility for all capital expenditure has been that of the Ministry of Finance.
"The Ministry of Finance is responsible for managing and facilitating resources," he said, "The responsibility of implementing the allocated budget and achieving the progress of spending is the responsibility of the relevant ministry."
Permanent Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank Neelam Dhungana stated that the indicators show that the economy is gradually recovering and that emphasis should be placed on financial stability.
Finance Secretary Ghanshyam Upadhyay expressed the opinion that it is necessary to move forward by making regulation and action effective.
