The NEPSE index, which measures stock trading, closed below 2,700 on Monday. NEPSE, which closed continuously on the last three trading days of last week, fell on both the first and second days of this week. Along with this, the overall NEPSE closed below 2,700 on Monday.

Compared to Sunday, NEPSE decreased by 7.75 points on Monday. Last Thursday, NEPSE rose by 26.49 points to 2,722.73 points. Last week, NEPSE crossed 2700 points after seven trading days. But last Sunday, NEPSE dropped by 16.68 points to 2,760.04 points. Compared to Sunday, the NEPSE dropped by 0.28 percent to 2,698.28 points on Monday. 

In the last few days, there has been an unexpected trend in the stock market, sources say. Some days the NEPSE increases with high numbers for no reason and some days it falls with high numbers. 

According to a stockbroker, Nepal's capital market has not yet matured due to this trend. Similarly, the stock market is a speculative market. However, it should have been a little more predictable but it was not, according to the official. 

The economy is sluggish. This has affected the financial statements of banks and financial institutions. Apart from that, the official said that even though there is no reason for the stock market to fall, it continues to fall. Out of those that came into trading on Monday, the share price of 112 companies increased, while 133 companies decreased, while one company remained stable. A total of 78 thousand 678 shares have been traded in 212 million 3766 shares. Shares worth 8 billion 77 crore 57 lakh rupees have been traded from those purchases. 

NEPSE reported that the transaction amount has increased compared to Sunday. Shares worth 8 billion 43 crore 35 lakh rupees were traded on Sunday. Among the total 13 subgroups, the indices of banking, finance companies, microfinance, life insurance, non-life insurance, trade and others declined. Business 70.44, finance 26.17, others 23.88, life insurance 22.15 and non-life insurance decreased by 19.69 points.

Development bank, hotel and tourism, hydropower, investment, production and processing and mutual fund sub-group index has increased according to NEPSE. According to NEPSE, hydropower increased by 27.36 points and development bank by 24.66 points. Nepal Micro Insurance Company's 9.99, Crest Micro Life Insurance's 9.99, Corporate Development Bank's 9.88, Universal Power Company's 9.80, Nepal Hydro Developers' share price has increased by 9.07 percent. 

Goodwill Finance Limited Debenture 2083 7.75, NMB Hybrid Fund (2nd) 7.70, Nepal SBI Bank 4.17, Win Nepal Laguvitta 4.02 and Green Development Bank 3.96 percent, according to NEPSE. 

Ngadi Group Power, Universal Power Company, Hydroelectricity Investment and Development Company, Himalayan Power Partners and NRAN Infrastructure and Development Bank were ahead in terms of transaction amount. 53 crore 99 lakh shares of Ngadi Group Power, 52 crore 47 lakh rupees of Universal Power Company have been traded. 

On Monday, the highest share turnover was of companies under hydropower sub-group. NEPSE has said that the total turnover of this subgroup is 4.47 billion 9 million, 1.22 billion 25 million 31 thousand rupees of investment and 24 million 186 thousand rupees of microfinance.
