NEPSE increased by 7 points, buying and selling of 7.5 billion shares

The NEPSE index, which measures stock trading, increased by 7.1 points on Wednesday. After decreasing by 0.26 percent compared to the previous day, the overall NEPSE rose to 2,696.23 points. On that day, while the share price of 147 companies increased, 97 companies decreased, while the share price of the remaining 2 companies remained stable.

1 crore 66 lakh 11 thousand 532 shares were bought and sold in 64 thousand 360 transactions. Shares worth 7 billion 265 million rupees have been traded in those purchases. Compared to the previous day, the transaction amount has decreased. Shares worth 8 billion 54 crores were traded on Tuesday.  

Among the 13 sub-groups traded that day, the indices of finance companies, microfinance, hotels and tourism, production and processing, investment and others fell . According to NEPSE, the indices of the remaining banking, development banks, hydropower, life insurance, collective investment funds, non-life insurance and business sub-groups increased.
