Experts have suggested not to include the small and medium development construction works implemented by the state government and local level in the federal government budget. In the report prepared by the high-level Economic Reform Suggestion Commission, which was formed under the coordination of former Finance Secretary Rameshwar Khanal, it has been mentioned that the right projects with high returns should be selected and completed on time.

The report, which was prepared after 6 months, was submitted to Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel on Friday. As a result, it is said in the report that the projects will not be repeated and missed.

"In the context of migration from the hilly areas, large roads should not be built unnecessarily, a program should be introduced to increase production based on the roads and irrigation infrastructure that have already been built," it is said in the suggested report, "Enough preparation should be made in advance to implement the project effectively, sufficient budget should be allocated, and employees involved in project management should not be transferred throughout the project period, and if the project is completed on time, the employees should be rewarded with a certain percentage of their annual salary."
