The construction of the road to the second camp of Everest continues. It is said that it is becoming difficult to build a road in the Everest region due to the strong winds that have been blowing for the past two days. Until yesterday evening, the wind was blowing at a speed of 35 kilometers per hour and pieces of 'icefall' were being scattered, so the icefall doctor is waiting for favorable weather.
In the Khumbu Icefall area, the work of placing ladders and nailing in the hanging air is going on. Director Awasthi said, "Four ladders and 12 nails have been damaged in the icefall area. "A road of 2,200 meters has to be built to reach the second camp. So far, a road of up to 1,100 meters has been built.'
The Everest Pollution Control Committee (SPCC) has deployed an 'Icefall Doctor' to build a road from the base camp of Everest to the second camp. According to SPCC, a team of 10 people has been deployed for this event. Both the teams will make a safe way for the Everest climbers. Climbers who make their way to the Khumbu Icefall are called (Icefall Doctor).
Only after the road to the second camp of Everest is ready, the mountaineering management association will make the road from the second camp to the peak, i.e. 'rope fixing'. For this, the association has appointed an eight-member team under the leadership of Ashok Lama. At this time, the association has given Etke Expedition Company the management responsibility of making the road and fixing the rope for climbing Mount Everest.
Spring season is considered the best season for climbing mountains including Everest. During this time, a significant number of foreigners come to climb Mount Everest.
