Jeevlal Bhusal has been given the responsibility as Director General of Foreign Employment Department. Bhusal was the head of the Foreign Employment Management Division of the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security.

Bhusal has been given a new responsibility by a ministerial decision of the Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Security Sharatsingh Bhandari on 21st Chait. The then Director General Surya Bahadur Khatri has been recalled to the Ministry of Labour. He is retiring.

The ministry has changed the department from deputy secretary, branch officer to computer operator. Stakeholders have been criticizing the department saying that the performance of the department, which is mainly responsible for managing the field of foreign employment, is not effective. According to the Ministry of Labour, Bhusal will take charge of the department from 26th of Chait.
