The Federation of Nepalese Industries and Commerce (FNCCI) and the Federation of Nepalese Industries and Businesses have condemned the violent incident in Tinkune on Friday and demanded compensation for the damage caused by it.
Both federations have issued separate statements and demanded action against the culprits. They have expressed that serious attention has been drawn to the protests and demonstrations based on various demands and the violation of the natural rights of ordinary people and businessmen to carry out their professions, as well as attacks on private and public property, looting, arson etc. .
Expressing grief over the loss of human life and property during the protest on the 15th of March, FNCCI has demanded compensation for the damage caused to private property, media houses, commercial establishments, offices and other commercial activities due to violent incidents including attacks, arson, and looting.
'Even if you can keep your demands within the constitutional rights, violent protests and demonstrations as well as looting, arson, damage to property and attacks on personal property are reprehensible . Federation of Nepal Chamber of Commerce and Industry strongly condemns and condemns this type of incident in any form. In addition, the federation urges all concerned to ensure public safety and prevent the recurrence of such incidents,' said the statement issued by the federation today.
Meanwhile, the Federation of Nepal Industry and Business has also issued a statement today and has condemned such activities by attacking the country's industrialists and businessmen since the past, destroying the financial institutions and disrupting the country's economy.
Condemning the criminal activities that took place in Tinkune and Koteshwar on Friday afternoon, the federation has requested all concerned to create a clean, transparent and fearless environment for doing business.
'The federation earnestly appeals to all concerned parties to be aware of such activities for the protection of the professional world and the people's wealth,' the statement said.
In addition, the federation has requested the government to bring all those involved in Friday's incident to justice and take immediate action, for an effective system of peace and security. The Federation has also requested all industrialists to be active for the defense and strengthening of the Republic.
