The contract for agriculture, employment, tourism industry and business fair to be held from Chait 22 to Baisakh 3 in Palpa's Tansen has been given to the private sector.

Chitwan Bharatpur-based Everest Event Management Pvt Ltd has concluded the contract at the maximum price of Rs. Although 10 days are written in the notification of Tansen municipality, now they are going to organize a 13-day festival. 

Chief Administrative Officer Pitambar Pandey said that Everest Event Management, which is the most vocal, has been approved in accordance with Section 4 and 10 of the Municipal Internal Revenue Collection and Revenue Procedures 2080. The main organizer of the festival in Tundikhel is the municipality. Palpa Business Association is the organizer in the statement signed by Mayor Santosh Lal Shrestha. Ministry of Forest, Environment, Tourism and Water Supply Lumbini Province, Tourism Development Council Lumbini Province and  Domestic and small industry Palpa is the co-organizer. 

In the previous year as well, a similar contract notice was issued and given to the private sector to run the festival. Last year, the municipality had an income of 62 lakhs. According to Mayor Shrestha, the slogan of Tansen is a tourist inclusive cultural city with well-organized infrastructure, distinctive products and green environment.  In the

festival, Palpali Dhaka, Karuva, agriculture and animal products will be encouraged and local technology will be encouraged, said Pratishka Gaha Sinjali, deputy head of the city. Products such as clay rent, wood contracts will be kept at the festival. She said that for the first time in the festival, there will be a fish tunnel, exhibition and promotion of industrial goods and services, promotion of micro-household and small industries that create and attract investment opportunities and encourage small entrepreneurs and businessmen. .  It is estimated that more than 500,000 spectators will watch the

festival and 80 million transactions will be made by the municipality. To enter the festival site, 75 rupees, 50 rupees for students and free entry for senior citizens and persons with disabilities have been arranged.
