Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel has instructed the development ministries to increase capital expenditure. On Tuesday, Finance Minister Paudel gave the instructions during a discussion with relevant ministries about the capital expenditure of the current financial year. He instructed to be 'pro-active' to increase capital expenditure.
According to the Ministry of Finance, 87 billion 33 crore 42 lakh rupees have been spent on capital till 11th Chaitra 2081.
The Ministry of Finance has facilitated the work to be done since the beginning of the current financial year. Minister of Finance Paudel said, "The management and facilitation of resources should be done proactively." The results to be achieved and the work to be done belong to the relevant ministry.
Finance Minister Paudel said that it is necessary to demonstrate efficiency in budget creation, budget allocation and implementation.
