The government has started discussing the operation of direct air services with Cambodia. The government discussed the service operation in a meeting with Cambodian senior government officials on Tuesday in Phnom Penh.
Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Minister Badri Prasad Pandey, who is visiting Cambodia, discussed with his Cambodian counterpart about the operation of direct air service between Nepal and Cambodia. He also met with the Minister of Culture and Religious Affairs, Chai Borin, and discussed the matter.
The Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation has informed that the construction of a religious and tourist network along with a larger Buddhist circuit was discussed between Nepal and Cambodia. Also, Minister Pandey discussed various aspects of tourism promotion and bilateral interests between the two countries.
