Tourism Minister Pandey invites French citizens to visit Nepal

Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Minister Badri Prasad Pandey has requested French citizens to visit Nepal. Minister Pandey has invited French citizens to visit Nepal at the 'Nepal Evening' program jointly organized by Nepali Embassy in Paris and Nepal Tourism Board in Paris.

Minister Pandey said, 'We cordially invite all French citizens to visit Nepal. We request you to include Nepal in your travel list.' 

Minister Pandey stated that Nepal has a unique confluence of natural beauty, cultural heritage, adventure sports and spirituality and expressed confidence that it will be an unforgettable experience for tourists visiting Nepal. He informed about the policies and programs adopted by the Government of Nepal for tourism promotion and informed that Nepal is a safe and attractive destination.

Nepali Ambassador to France Sudhir Bhattarai said that the relationship between Nepal and France is historic and expressed confidence that the experience of French citizens visiting Nepal will always be positive. Deepak Raj Joshi, Executive Chief Officer of Nepal Tourism Board highlighted the initiatives taken for the promotion of tourism in Nepal and informed that attractive packages are available for tourists visiting Nepal. Elizabeth Herzog, the wife of the late Maurice Herzog, the famous French mountaineer, was honored at the

event. After receiving the award, Herzog discussed his special relationship with Nepal and expressed the pleasant experiences of his visit to Nepal. About 60 tourism professionals, culture lovers and people interested in Nepal participated in the

program.
