The work of opening the alternative road 'track' of Muglin-Narayangadh section has started. As an alternative route to the currently operational road, the work of opening the 'track' of Muglin-Gaighat-Dasdhunga-Thimura-Gandakot road has started.

For this work, the road department has allocated Rs. Ambukhaireni Rural Municipality-4 of Tanahun is working to open the track of the said road from Puljeep. 

As an alternative to the Muglin Narayangadh road, the road department has awarded the first phase of the detailed study of the road from Muglin to Gaighat, Dasdhunga, Timura, Devpur in Devghat and connecting it to Gandakot in Nawalpur after 9DPR0.

Keshavchandra Neupane, a local resident of Devghat, said that the government has fulfilled the demands that the local residents have repeatedly raised. He says that Muglin has been raising voice for the construction of an alternative road as an alternative to the Narayangadh road section.

Nawalpur's Gaindakot Municipality-3 Britiscamp and Devghat Rural Municipality-5 Deupur via an alternative road connecting Dasdhunga and the need for an alternative route from Dasdhunga to Muglin towards Tanahun on the banks of Trishuli. were. 

Although the alternative road was included in the government's policy and program in the past, the budget was allocated for the study, but later the government canceled the plan. Til Bahadur Thapa, Chairman of Devghat Rural Municipality, said that if the road can be constructed, Devghat Rural Municipality will become a center of economic and religious tourism.

As the national highway does not touch Devghat Rural Municipality at present, he expressed his belief that if the road from Gaandakot to Devghat to Dasdhunga is constructed, more tourists will enter Devghat and the religious tourism of Devghat will be developed. 

The Muglin-Narayangadh road, which is currently in operation, suffers from landslides during the rainy season, so the locals say that an alternative road is very necessary. Purna Bahadur Kunwar, Ward President of Devghat Rural Municipality-5, said that if another national road can be built towards Tanahun, many settlements of Devghat and Ambukhaireni Rural Municipality, which are currently lagging behind in development, can be brought into the mainstream of development.
