Trinational tourism exhibition in Pokhara to attract tourists from India and China

For the first time in the tourist capital of Pokhara, the tri-national tourism exhibition NICE-2025 (Nepal-India-China-Exhibition) has started from today. It is said that the exhibition is about to start with the aim of bringing in more tourists from neighboring countries India and China.

More than 600 people including 80 buyers, 70 sellers and 75 international representatives from the tourism sector are participating in the three-day exhibition.

Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) Nepal Chapter said that the exhibition was organized in collaboration with Nepal Tourism Board, Pokhara Tourism Council and other government and private sector partners.  It is believed that the

exhibition will bring the government and private sector tourism and related organizations of the three countries together and create professional experience as well as network expansion and business opportunities among them.

Pokhara is becoming a destination for nature lovers as well as adventurers. Located at an altitude of 822 meters above sea level, Pokhara is also known as the city of lakes and the gateway to the Himalayas and footpaths.  Dhaulagiri, Annapurna-1 and Manaslu, three of the 14 highest peaks in the world can be seen from here.

The exhibition organized with the slogan 'Nice for mice and more' will promote Pokhara not only as a hiking and adventure tourism center but also as an attractive destination for mice tourism (ie meetings, conferences, incentives, weddings and other celebrations, festivals, ceremonies, fairs and exhibitions), Pata Nepal said.

Pata Nepal Chapter Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Suresh Singh Budal said that the exhibition was organized with the aim of promoting Nepal's tourism potential and integrated business opportunities in India and China, the two largest economies and tourism resource markets.  On the second day of the

exhibition, on February 13th, The Knowledge Forum, tourism experts will share knowledge on topics such as 'Visa Destination Insights: Supporting the Tourism Ecosystem to Sustainable Hospitality from Construction to Operation'. Besides, Bitubi exhibition, professional meeting and network expansion sessions will also be organized in the exhibition.  It is expected that the

exhibition will help bring more tourists from India and China to Nepal. It is also believed that the exhibition will be helpful for promoting tourism and integrated trade. The program will help to further strengthen trade relations between the three countries, especially in the fields of tourism, hospitality and related industries, by enhancing business networks and cooperation.  Pokhara Metropolitan Municipality Chief Dhanraj Acharya said that it is an important and historic moment for international representatives of Nepal, India and China's world-famous travel companies, tour operators, tourism experts, and organizing organizations to meet in Pokhara for the first time, referring to Pokhara visit year 2025.  He expressed his belief that the

international exhibition will play an important role in inviting the expected tourists in the future. He said that tourism, trade and cultural relations between Nepal, India and China will be further strengthened.

'This special event will become a bridge for our regional cooperation and prosperity', Metropolitan Chief Acharya said, 'In order to strengthen business, tourism and partnership, the cooperation and participation of all of us is indispensable.

'Expo will further highlight the tourism potential of Pokhara', he said, 'along with promoting the tourism of the entire country including Pokhara, this will also be an important achievement for the tri-national tourism partnership.'
