The country's export trade has increased by 47 percent. According to the trade data released by the Customs Department on Thursday, goods worth 1 trillion 27 billion 20 million rupees were exported in seven months.

This amount is 46.50 percent more than the same period of the last financial year, according to the data of the department. In the first 7 months of the financial year 2080/81, goods worth 86.83 billion rupees were exported.

Similar import trade has increased by 10 percent . On  In the seven months of the financial year, goods worth 9 trillion 88 billion 58 crore rupees have been imported. In the first 6 months of 2080/81, the data of the department has imported goods worth 8 trillion 97 billion 94 crore rupees.

Trade deficit has increased by 6.20 percent with import and export . In the first seven months of the last fiscal year, the country's trade deficit was 8 trillion 11 billion 11 billion rupees. During the same period of the current financial year, the trade loss has increased to 8 trillion 61 billion 38 crore rupees, the department said.
