Real estate business: 3.87 billion revenue collection last January

Although the real estate business across the country seems to be on the mend, there has been a decline in revenue collection in January compared to last December.

According to the Department of Land Management and Records, which maintains the details of real estate transactions, revenue equal to Rs. Four billion 25 million 22 lakh 21 thousand seven hundred 79 revenue was collected last December. According to the department, three billion 87 crore 48 lakh 26 thousand nine hundred 76 revenue was received last November. 

According to the details of the seven months of the current financial year, there has been a general increase in revenue collection. Compared to the same period last year, there has been an increase of almost 14 percent in revenue collection in the seven months of the current year. According to the Department of Land Management and Records, a total of 24 billion 71 crores of revenue has been collected up to the end of January of the current year. 

In the same period of last year, revenue equal to 21.65 billion was collected. Last January, a total of 46 thousand 50 thousand 69 bills were passed, while last December that number was 48 thousand one hundred and 56. Among the nine different shipping offices in the Kathmandu valley, land reform and shipping office Lagankhel has collected the most revenue. It is seen in the details that the office has collected revenue of Rs 33 crore 74 lakh. 

Similarly, Dillibazar Malport Office collected 260 million 92 million, Kalanki Malport 26 million 1 million, Chabahil 20 million 80 million and Bhaktapur Malport office collected 24 million 42 million.
