The festival will be organized to expand the access to the market of orthodox tea, which is being produced by organic methods in various places in the eastern hills.
In the press conference held in Phidim, various activities will be conducted to promote tea tourism in the festival to be held on February 5th and 6th in Fidim of Panchthar.
The organization of Lali tea producer and processing cooperative organization Fidim, the promotion of Fidim Municipality and the support of Tourism and Environment Office Kakdavitta informed the chairman of the organizing organization Tank Prasad Rai.
According to him, there are programs such as exhibition of tea produced in different places, tasting, sales distribution and inter-dialogue (panel discussion) on the multi-dimensional aspects of tea. The organizers claim that the
festival will help in tea promotion, marketing, culture revival. It is said that tea experts from the country and abroad will participate in the program.
