Three private sector organizations of Nepal have said that the ongoing strike over the construction of a cable car to develop and promote tourism in the Pathibhara (Mukkumlung) region will disrupt the investment-friendly environment of the country's infrastructure development. In the context of the progress of the cable car project, the private sector has also requested to immediately stop the strike program, stating that serious attention has been drawn to the activities that are being opposed to it.

Federation of Nepal Industry and Commerce, Confederation of Nepal Industry and Nepal Chamber of Commerce issued a joint statement saying that due to the ongoing strike in the districts of Koshi province, the educational, economic and social life of the country has been disrupted, the common people have to suffer and such activities will destroy the investment-friendly environment for the infrastructure development of the country. He said that the situation will be created .  

'It is well known that the private sector plays an important role in the overall economic development of Nepal, the investment made by the private sector in various infrastructure development and service sectors including industry, trade, banking, energy, agriculture, tourism, communication has contributed significantly to the prosperity of the country,' the statement said. , 'Since the recent activities that are stopping the development work will convey a negative message to the domestic and foreign investors investing in Nepal, we request the relevant stakeholders to be serious about this issue and to create an environment in which development and construction can be carried out smoothly and without interruption. We do . ’ 

While the private sector has invested billions of rupees in tourism, providing direct and indirect employment to thousands of Nepalis, the tourism infrastructure to be built in Pathibhara (Mukkumlung) will provide safe, fast and convenient travel to the elderly, disabled children and other travelers who want to go there. Promotion of religious, cultural and adventure tourism, promotion of business through the development of agriculture, handicrafts, as well as the creation of direct and indirect employment opportunities for local people and the development of tourism in the country. It is mentioned in the statement that it has a positive effect. 

'The local level and local residents agree for the cable car construction  In the context of holding the opinion that the cable car should not be built, it is not only sad that the cable car construction work is interrupted with external interference.  The private sector has taken it as an attempt to stop the flow of development,' the announcement states.

They have said that this obstacle in development is not only an opposition to any one project, but also creates a situation where the investment-friendly environment for the infrastructure development of the country will be destroyed and it will convey a negative message to the investors investing in Nepal . Stating that the solution to the

problem can be done through dialogue, the private sector has requested the local community, related agencies and stakeholders to accept this development effort positively and move the Pathibhara (Mukkumlung) cable car project smoothly and smoothly.
