Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel has said that he will not stop paying the amount of builders who have been claimed according to the law. In a program organized by Women's Economic Journalist Association FEZA in Kathmandu on Sunday, Poudel said that it is uncomfortable that the current government has to fulfill the payment obligations left over from the previous government.
Finance Minister Paudel said, 'Now we have reached a situation where we can easily pay the bills of government construction workers according to the law . The government has not stopped the payment of the amount legally claimed.'
Finance Minister Paudel also said that the government is taking initiatives to increase capital expenditure. It is necessary to increase the capital expenditure by reforming the Public Procurement Act, Forest Act, Environment Act. For that, we will pay attention to making the regulation effective,' Minister Paudel said, 'When evaluating the capital expenditure in a balanced way, there has been progress this year compared to last year, but it is not enough .'
Finance Minister Paudel also said that a significant part of the banks are invested in the real estate business, but there is a problem in the overall economy as the business is running in this sector . Banks have invested in real estate after fulfilling the criteria. The economy cannot be improved by only cursing the real estate agents . Solving the problem in this area is a common issue between the private sector and the government, so it is necessary to solve it together,' he said.
Minister Paudel said that the ordinance brought by the government will play a strong role in policy reform and it will increase the morale of the private sector. Finance Minister Poudel claimed that the government has emphasized on policy reforms to solve the problems in the economy and the ordinance is a strong initiative for that.
