The Government of India is going to give a grant of 700 million Indian rupees to Nepal for the financial year 2025/2026.

 

In the annual budget presented by the Indian Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in the Parliament on Saturday, it is mentioned that Nepal will be given a grant of 7 billion Bharu (about 11.5 billion rupees) equal to last year. It is estimated that India will provide Rs 700 crore to Nepal in the current financial year.

It is mentioned in the budget that India gives the most subsidy to Bhutan among the neighboring countries . India has announced that it will provide 2,150 million Indian rupees to Bhutan. This amount is less than this financial year . This financial year, India had allocated 2 thousand 543.48 crore rupees.  

Similarly, India's next budget mentions that 500 crores will be provided to Maldives, 350 crores to Myanmar, 300 crores to Sri Lanka, 100 crores to Afghanistan, 120 crores to Bangladesh, 225 crores to African countries and 50 crores to Mongolia. is .
