Honoring climbers including mountaineer Phunjo Jangmo Lama here on Sunday, he said that a welfare fund will be established for the social security of mountaineers and encouragement in climbing.
In the honor program organized by Chumanubri Rural Municipality of Gorkha, the highest peak Everest was climbed in the shortest time (14 hours and 31 minutes) Climbers including llamas have been honored to set the record. Minister Pandey honored Mingmar Tshiring Lama, Nangsel Choidon Lama, Nanu Maya Gurung, Dicky Lhamu Lama and Yukta Gurung along with the record lamas.
