"We have said that by 2035, domestic consumption will be 13,500 megawatts and 15,000 megawatts of electricity will be sold to the neighboring countries of India and Bangladesh. As the market for the produced electricity has been assured, invest in this sector with confidence," he said.
Minister Khadka mentioned that arrangements have been made so that even the private sector can construct transmission lines, so that the electricity produced will not be wasted due to the lack of transmission lines. He said that the market for the produced electricity is assured and the work of the transmission lines is also progressing rapidly, so investment in this sector is safe. is .
In order to raise the standard of living of the poor and underprivileged citizens through the development of the hydropower sector, Minister Khadka mentioned that the government is going to arrange shares from two lakh to five lakh rupees to the poor citizens of the affected areas at a subsidized rate under the people's hydropower program .
He said that a prosperous country cannot be built as we envisioned unless the poor citizens can be made rich. Minister Khadka said that national unity is being maintained among all parties for development.
When the Supreme Court annulled the revised provisions of the National Parks and Wildlife Protection Act, he said that the hydropower sector was hit and asked to reconsider the order. Minister Khadka asked the construction companies to work so that the project is completed on time, saying that such hydropower companies will help to fulfill the target set by the government.
