In the US, Tiktok, which was blocked since Saturday evening, has resumed operations. Tiktok mentioned that the service was resumed after Donald Trump, who is going to take over the office of the President from Monday, said that he would 'protect Tiktok'. Tiktok introduced the service to Trump.

Trump said that joint initiatives will be taken to bring Tiktok into operation at a rally held on Sunday before assuming the office of the President . As of Sunday evening, the app was not available on Playstore and Appstore in the US.

The US federal government's law on Tiktok was upheld by the Supreme Court, and Tiktok stopped working in America from Saturday evening. The court on Friday ruled that the government's ultimatum to the Chinese company ByteDance to sell Tiktok's US operations or face bans across the country from next Sunday was correct.
