Diktel Rupakot Majhuwagadhi Municipality-14 Buipa built moisture center has become useless. The humidification center built at the expense of 92 lakhs by the local and federal governments has become useless. In the financial year 2078/79, it was built by spending 5 million rupees from the Parliament Development Fund and 42 million rupees from the municipality and 92 million rupees, said Deputy Mayor Wisan Rai.

Rai said that the center has become useless because there is no production of agricultural products. Rai said that a moisture center was built to store 30 tons of agricultural products of the same type at a time and it could not be put into operation because the amount of agricultural products was not produced. "The moisture center needs 30 tons of agricultural products of the same type at a time, it is not produced and how will it be operational?" said Rai.

Since there is only one chamber in the moisture center, the technician was called to get information about whether to add another chamber or adopt another method, Tejprakash Jaisi, head of agriculture branch of Diktel Rupakot Majhuwagadhi Municipality, said. "There is only one chamber that can hold 30 tons, we have called a technician to decide whether to add another chamber to it or how to store other agricultural products, it will be decided after they arrive," Jaisi said. He said that a budget of one and a half lakh has been allocated for the maintenance of the moisture center.
