It has been found that the real estate business is gradually returning to the rhythm. According to the Department of Land Management and Records, which keeps details of real estate transactions across the country, there has been an increase in revenue collection in the month of December compared to the month of November.
In the last month of November 3 billion 87 crore 48 lakh 26 thousand 976 was collected, till the end of January 4 billion 25 crore 22 lakh 21 thousand 779 revenue was received. According to the
department, 30 million 43 million 44 thousand 665 was collected from service tax in that month. Similarly, 2 billion 6878 million 26 thousand 145 from registration fees, 1 billion 683 million 28 thousand 172 from capital gains tax.
Lagankhel Land Reforms and Lands Office has collected the most revenue among the nine land offices in Kathmandu Valley. That office has collected 40 million 94 million 42 thousand seven hundred 32 revenue. From this, it can be easily assumed that there has been a significant increase in real estate transactions in Lalitpur.
Similarly, the Gotikhel Lalitpur Port Office has collected two lakh 89 thousand 84, the Bhaktapur Port Office has collected 29 crore 76 lakh 13 thousand two hundred and seventy one, and the Dillibazar Port Office has collected 219 million 99 thousand six hundred and eighty five million revenue.
Likewise, according to the department, Malpot Office Chabhil 22 crore 93 lakh 80 thousand 367, Kalanki Malpot 21 crore 93 lakh 71 thousand 792, Malpot Karial Sankhu 10 crore 32 lakh 59 thousand 622, Manmaiju Rs 6 crore 68 lakh 29 thousand five hundred and 61, Malpot Office Tokha has collected revenue equal to 6 crore 77 lakh 34 thousand six hundred and ninety seven is
Similarly, Biratnagar Port Office has collected 161.1 million three thousand four hundred and eighty one million, and Inruwa Sunsari has collected 10 million 93 million 74 thousand two hundred and 57 million revenue.
Last October, revenue equal to 2 billion 704 million 46 thousand 645 was collected from real estate transactions across the country.
