The government has paid attention to strengthen the economy: Prime Minister

Private sector associations including Federation of Nepal Industry and Commerce have expressed their thanks to the Government of Nepal stating that the recently issued ordinance will improve the investment and business environment in the country.

In the presence of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel, Home Minister Ramesh Akhtar and other ministers at the Prime Minister's Residence, Baluwatar today, Federation President Chandra Prasad Dhakal, Nepal Industry Federation President Rajesh Kumar Agarwal, Nepal Chamber of Commerce President Kamlesh Agarwal, Nepal Industry and Business Federation President Bhagirath Sapkota. He said that the matters related to investment and business in the ordinance are welcome. 

The representatives of the private sector demanded to bring appropriate regulations and procedures for their implementation as these ordinances will be effective in boosting the contracted economy after the covid-19. They said that due to the provisions of the ordinance, new blood will flow in the private sector, and if investment-friendly environment is created in this way, it will contribute to the fulfillment of the national aspirations of a prosperous Nepal and a happy Nepali.

Four different ordinances were issued by the President on the recommendation of the government on January 29, while the ordinance related to land management is about to be issued soon. In the

program, Prime Minister Oli expressed his happiness that the government's commitment to doing good work was taken positively and clarified that despite the market rumors that the government is collapsing, the parties in the power coalition are sitting together and taking effective steps to build the country.

Prime Minister Oli said that since everyone has the feeling to build a country, apart from protesting for their own interests, the common people want development and good governance. He said that prosperity will not be impossible if practical and favorable policies related to good governance and development are introduced.
