The NEPSE index, which measures stock trading, improved slightly on Wednesday. Compared to the previous day, the overall NEPSE has increased by 1.83 points and closed at 2,595.96 points. The NEPSE, which fell by double digits in the previous three trading days, showed a slight improvement on Wednesday.
The share price of 124 companies traded on that day increased, 108 decreased, and the remaining 10 remained stable.
1 crore 7 lakh 45 thousand 427 shares were bought and sold in 63 thousand 374 transactions. Shares worth about 5 billion 82 crore 49 lakh rupees have been traded in those purchases. The transaction amount has also decreased compared to the previous trading day .
Among the 13 sub-groups that came into trading on Wednesday, the index of banking, finance, investment, microfinance, collective investment fund and non-life insurance fell . The index of the rest of the subgroups increased .
