The Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development is going to publish details about agricultural subsidies. It is said that the details of the grants distributed earlier under the ministry will be made public through a press conference this afternoon in the auditorium of the ministry at Singhdarbar.
Agriculture and Livestock Development Minister Ramnath Adhikari had promised to make public the details of the agricultural subsidies that were previously distributed under the ministry on the day he assumed office.
He said, "My goal is that poor, disadvantaged farmers can get agricultural subsidies. It is necessary to make it more transparent as it has been heard that people have complained about the distribution of agricultural subsidies. For this reason, the details of the grants previously distributed under the ministry are going to be made public.
