Along with the general increase in the price of gold and silver in the international market, its impact has also been felt in the local market.

The price of one ounce of gold in the international market today has been fixed at 2704 US dollars. Last Friday, the same amount of yellow metal was traded at 2681 dollars. 

Compared to last Friday, gold has increased by Rs 1,600 per tola, while silver has also increased by Rs 15 per tola. According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Traders Federation, one tola of gold was traded at 155,700 today, while the price of the same amount of silver remained at 1,860.
