She said that ripe and ripening oranges turn yellow quickly, become sour when eaten, the plant appears black, the plant dries up and there is an outbreak of the finger worm in the fields of some farmers. Farmers have become worried after the oranges started falling and the branches dried up in some places . They have been complaining that their orange plantations will be destroyed because they cannot get technical services.
Farmers have not been able to solve the disease despite not getting technical support from the rural municipality as well as the district level. The orange pocket area is not only Bhairavasthan in Ribdikot, but also in Kusum Khola, Palungmainadi, Muzung, Amlavas, Somadia. Saraswati Pokhrel, a farmer of Rainadevi Chhahara Rural Municipality-4 Chhahara Amla, said that the problem of oranges falling, plants turning yellow, branches drying up, and black spots on the plants. She said that although the disease appeared in oranges, it was difficult to get technical services.
The Prime Minister's Agriculture Modernization Project has launched Orange Zone . But even here there are not enough technicians . As a result, there is a lack of other knowledge even if the content is given. He said that orange plants have died in some places, but due to the lack of technical knowledge, instead of treating them, they have to pull them out.
