The NEPSE index, which measures stock trading, increased by 6.16 points on Tuesday.  Compared to the previous day, the overall NEPSE increased by 0.23 percent to 2,646.84 points. The NEPSE, which had increased normally in the previous four trading days, followed the same trend on Tuesday as well.

The share price of 126 companies traded on that day increased, 107 decreased, and the remaining 10 remained stable.

12 million 81 thousand 606 shares were bought and sold in 66 thousand 626 transactions. Shares worth 5.38 billion 46 million rupees have been traded in those purchases. Compared to the previous day, the transaction amount has decreased. Last Monday, there was a transaction worth 6.3 billion 54 lakh rupees.

On Tuesday, banking, hotel and tourism, manufacturing and processing and other sub-groups indices decreased. The index of all the remaining subgroups increased.
