Financial crisis in Hetauda Cement due to lack of production

The Hetauda cement industry, which has stopped production after the equipment broke down, is in financial crisis. The financial problems have increased when the production was stopped since last October 15th.

The higher management of the industry has accepted that even though production has stopped, administrative expenses, employee salaries and fuel expenses are increasing.

The Chairman of the Industry Management Committee, Narendra Bhandari, said that the industry, which has been closed for a long time due to the economic crisis, is preparing to start production as soon as the equipment is repaired.

It took time to repair the equipment because the technician had to be brought from India.  The industry has enough raw materials. "There is no shortage of raw materials with us," President Bhandari said, "We have 400 metric tons of coal available for the industry."

Due to financial shortage, the industry was closed for two months before. Production started from the third week of last August  The industry produced 65,000 sacks of cement during that period.
