Cable car at Chisapani with the investment of IME Group

IME Group is going to construct Jalpadevi Cable Car at Karnali Chisapani in Kailali. According to the group, the cable car to be built in Lamkichuha Municipality-3 will be 3.1 kilometers long. Foreign Minister Arju Rana Deuba laid the foundation stone of the cable car on Saturday.

There will be 34 gondolas in the cable car from Chisapani to Mohanyal Rural Municipality-7 Rajkanda. According to the construction company, a cable car, hotel, casino and banquet hall will be built at the bottom station of the cable car, which will be invested five billion rupees.

Similarly, other tourist and entertainment infrastructure including resort, temple, sky walk, walking trail, restaurant and children's park will be built at the top station.

Foreign Minister Arju said that the construction of the cable car will play a significant role in the economic, social and cultural development of the entire Far West Province. "The Far West is rich in tourism, culture, tradition and biological diversity," she said, "The communities of the Far West region are also development-loving." She said that this magnificent tourist infrastructure with cable cars and hotels to be built in the Far West province will be a great achievement for the prosperity of the Far West and the country.

Forest and Environment Minister Ain Bahadur Shahi also said that the cable car and other infrastructure will play a significant role in the development of Far Western Province. "There are very few major infrastructures of modern development in Far West, Karnali and Lumbini provinces," he said, "Come to our region with more such infrastructure projects." We welcome you.

The Chief Minister of Sudurpaschim Province, Kamal Bahadur Shah, said that the cable car and resort to be built at Chisapani in Karnali, the gateway to Sudurpaschim Province, will promote adventure, religious and recreational tourism.
