Dakneshwari Traders, which has got a chemical fertilizer sales and distribution dealer for Dakneshwari Municipality-5, was found to be selling and distributing fertilizers in another municipality, Bodevarsain Municipality-5, and the monitoring team led by Assistant Chief District Officer Jitendra Yadav seized 56 sacks of chemical fertilizers on 3rd December 2081.

Last December 26, the team also seized 139 sacks of manure from the godown of Satyanarayan Yadav of Hanumannagar Kankalini municipality. No one could be arrested there either. On November 19, a monitoring team seized 220 sacks of chemical fertilizers including DAP, Urea and Potash from Adarsh ​​Traders and Suppliers headed by Dhirendra Sah in Dakneshwari-9. There is no dealer who sells and distributes chemical fertilizers, and an investigation is being conducted on where the fertilizer came from. No one was arrested here either. 

In the same way, assistant Prazia Yadav says that the monitoring team has taken control of the suppliers who did not have permission to sell chemical fertilizers in various other places.

During the wheat crop season, when the farmers are struggling due to lack of fertilizer, the farmers are forced to buy the fertilizer from other places by paying expensive fees. The black market of government fertilizers has been confirmed as fertilizers are not available at the dealers designated by the government, but subsidized fertilizers are found at expensive prices in other places. 

The chief district officer of Saptari, Bhola Dahal, says, "Fertilizer seized from unauthorized places has been found to be subsidized by the government and has the tag of an agricultural material company".

Saptari police chief SP Dhakendra Khatiwada said that the mall seized by the monitoring committee under black market is under the control of the district police . SP Khatiwada informed that a case has been registered against Satyanarayan Yadav of Hanumannagar Kankalini Municipality and Adarsh ​​Traders and Suppliers Dakneshwari Pathargada under the Black Market Act and the investigation is being carried out on other issues.

There is a provision to sell chemical fertilizers only by the dealer appointed by the local level at the ward level on the recommendation of the ward. As recommended by the State Fertilizer Distribution and Management Committee under the State Government, the dealers designated by municipalities and wards in the district have received chemical fertilizers for sale and distribution.

On the one hand, the administration has not been able to find the reasons behind the lack of fertilizer as per the requirement, the farmers are in trouble due to the lack of fertilizer and the fact that the same fertilizer is found in firms that have not received permission. Prazia Dahal says, 'There is a suspicion that the fertilizer found in unlicensed firms or suppliers may have been smuggled outside the district, it may have been taken from licensed fertilizer dealers or it may have gone from the office where the fertilizer is stored, but the clear reason has not been revealed, we are investigating.' We are determined to stop the black market of fertilizers,' said Prazia Dahal, 'as soon as the information was received, the process of action was initiated. Six .' He informed that a black market case has been initiated against selling chemical fertilizers in the black market.

According to the recommendations of the Provincial Fertilizer Distribution and Management Committee, Agricultural Materials Company Limited and Salt Trading have been distributing fertilizers including DAP, Urea and Potash to the designated dealers for all 18 municipal wards of Saptari district.

According to Sonelal Murmu, head of Agricultural Materials Company Limited, Rajviraj, Saptari district needs 90,000 sacks of DAP, 150,000 sacks of urea and 10,000 sacks of potash in the season of paddy and wheat. This year, from July to mid-November, only 93 thousand 450 bags of urea, 42 thousand 20 bags of DAP and 2 thousand 120 bags of potash have arrived in the agricultural material company . He said that since the coming season of chemical fertilizers, some fertilizers have been given to the authorized dealers for sale and distribution.
