Dairy Development Corporation (DDC) also lends its products to firms and companies based on trust. They get such loans on the basis of doing regular business.

But in the meantime, some firms and companies become uncontactable, while others break up their business. And, dues remain due from them. Not only that, the employees also cheat/scam in the sale of milk fat, SNF, diesel, chaff etc. DDC has yet to recover more than 4.5 million rupees from the scam committed by the employees.

Some employees have retired. But the management of DDC is putting it aside due to fear of workers' agitation. The arrears to be collected due to regular business, employee and employee misbehavior from 2073 to 2079 is more than 225 million rupees. General Manager Surya Paudel said that the amount has increased to 31 million in the last one and a half years.

By the year 2079, there was arrears of about 22 crore rupees. Even after that, dues of old companies doing regular business have been added. We also had to sell the goods in stock. That's why we went to 'Force Sale',' said General Manager Paudel, 'At that time, we even gave up to 10 tons on loan to those who took five tons. That is why the arrears have increased to about 31 million in the last one and a half to two years. But the money will be recovered from the regular traders. We also collect money from the employees according to the rules.' He claims that it is normal for a company doing

business to stop doing business and to collect money. "Such a problem happens in other companies, it's not a big issue," General Manager Poudel said, "It should be raised from the employees as well."

From 2073 to 2079, the arrears to be collected from the employees is 4 crore 15 lakh rupees. The Auditor General's office has also been raising questions on this issue time and time again. Most of the Kathmandu milk product sales and distribution project is yet to be recovered from Lanchaur.

2 crore 8 lakh 35 thousand rupees should be recovered from Lanchaur. According to DDC, Pemba Tamang, Govinda Bahadur Gurung, Lakpa Dorje Lama, Tulsi Prasad Kafle, Subas Rai and Prem Prasad Parajuli, working in Lainchaur, caused a loss of 2 crore 14 lakh rupees. Gurung has embezzled 50 lakh 22 thousand, but only 565 thousand has been recovered from him. Dues are yet to be collected from other employees as well.

1 crore 46 lakh 36 thousand rupees is yet to be collected from the employees of Balaju in Kathmandu Milk Distribution Project. DDC claims that 24 employees here have caused 1 crore 68 lakh 45 thousand damage. Even if 22 lakh 9 thousand rupees have been recovered from them, 1 crore 46 lakh 36 thousand arrears will have to be recovered.

Rs. 22 lakh 13 thousand rupees are yet to be collected from the employees of the Biratnagar milk distribution project. The 10 employees here caused a loss of 32 lakh 27 thousand rupees. DDC says that 10 lakh 14 thousand rupees have been recovered but the balance has not been received.

2 lakh 34 thousand rupees will be collected from the employees of Janakpur Milk Distribution Project. 5 employees here incurred a loss of 899,000. The outstanding amount to be collected from the employees of Nepalgunj Milk Distribution Project Kohalpur is 14 lakh 64 thousand.

3 employees here had a loss of 18 lakh 81 thousand rupees. According to DDC, Rs 99,000 should be collected from the employees of Attaria, Dhangadhi milk distribution project. It is said that one of the employees here caused a damage of 1 lakh 69 thousand rupees.

20 lakh 88 thousand will also be collected from the employees of Hetaunda milk distribution project. 9 employees here caused a loss of 29 lakh 18 thousand rupees. Although 830 thousand rupees have been collected from them, there is arrears of 20 lakh 88 thousand.

The auditor general's office has also raised questions about the Hetaunda milk distribution project. It is mentioned in the 61st annual report of the Auditor General's Office that there was a scam worth Rs. According to the report, the amount due from a distributor for the sale of milk and milk products was embezzled by showing the bank account even though there was no bank account.

'Looking at the bank's accounts from last year, 12 million has been deposited. According to the decision of the Board of Directors dated 28th Chait 2078, a complaint was filed against the distributor on 19th Baisakh 2079 to recover the amount and interest with the Central Bureau of Investigation. It is under consideration in the district court. 45 Lakhs received from suppliers through checks and adjustments to his accounts receivable, reconciliation with the employees working in the sales branch in the cash accounts receivable. has done Interest should be recovered from the concerned employees.'

DDC has to collect arrears of Rs. The amount is arrears since June 2073. According to DDC, the number of employees of firms-companies that are not in business in Nepalgunj milk distribution project is 3 lakh 56 thousand rupees.

10 lakh 10 thousand rupees in Dhangadhi milk distribution project, 29 lakh 86 thousand rupees in Janakpur milk distribution project and 39 lakh 73 thousand rupees in Lainchaur milk products sale and distribution project.

61 thousand from Hetaunda milk distribution project, 1.5 lakh 25 thousand from Biratnagar dairy development project, 1.2 lakh 91 thousand rupees from Kathmandu milk distribution project and 2 lakh 46 thousand rupees from animal feed factory Hetaunda says that DDC should collect arrears. The Auditor General's office has also questioned about the amount of money.

'Asami 99 lakhs is yet to be recovered from the previous year under various branch offices that are not in business. It is seen that 60.6 million more than the bond or bank guarantee is sold,'' the report of the General Account said, "The amount of 4.8 million loss by selling butter below the specified rate has not been recovered since last year. The difference in sales between the finance and accounting branches of 1.5 crores has not been reconciled.'

Apart from these, the firm-companies that are doing regular business also have more than 167.8 million in arrears. According to sources, a letter was sent to all the projects in December 2079 to collect money from employees and employees. Even though the projects were given a deadline of 7 days, the arrears have not been raised yet.

DDC has not been able to collect dues from employees and projects and has not given money to some farmers for 6 and a half months. According to DDC, the outstanding amount to be paid to the farmers is about 70 crores.

DDC collects milk from more than 46 districts including Kavre, Sindhupalchok, Ilam, Morang, Panchthar, Butwal, Kapilvastu, Taulihwa through about 1200 milk producer cooperatives. It is said that about 200,000 farmer families are involved in 1,200 cooperatives.
