Nagdhunga-Muglin road is being divided into three different sections and the upgrading work is being done. During the delay in the work, the work will be done by partially stopping the traffic from Sunday in the difficult section.
According to the notification issued by the District Administration Office, Dhading, three sections of the road section will be partially closed from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm from Sunday to Saturday 13th.
Vehicles other than ambulances and security agencies cannot be driven during that time period . According to the road department, the traffic movement will be stopped for a short time as the work will be carried out in Sisne Khola area around Nagdhunga tunnel located in Dhunibesi Municipality-9 of Dhading, Pokhre area of Naubise-Malekhu section and Vishaltar area of Malekhu-Muglin section.
Keshav Prasad Ojha, Head of Planning of Nagadhunga-Muglin Road Plan, Eastern Section, said that because there is a risk of stones falling from the top while cutting a curve, the movement of vehicles will be stopped for a certain time. "Other works can be done even by making a one-lane road without stopping vehicles," he said, "Now, in order to widen the road, wherever there is a difficult hill on that road section, it is being tried to be cut and adjusted."
When the road is closed, the planning offices have issued notices with the help of the traffic police to stop which vehicles and where. About 15,000 small vehicles ply daily on the Nagadhunga-Muglin section. He says that work is going on in all the three sections. He told that the speed of work has increased a bit compared to before.
