Hetaunda Cement Industry Management has prepared to start cement production from 13th January. Narendra Bhandari, Chairman of the Industry Management Committee informed that since the repair work of the equipment of the industry has been completed, the cement production will be started from 13th January.

He said that the work of the equipment will be completed by the 10th of January and the production will be started soon after that. "The repair work of the equipment including the clinical machine of the industry is still going on," President Bhandari said, "We expected that the repair would be completed by Tihar and we would start the work of cement products again soon after that, but since the repair work of the equipment has not been completed, it has taken time to operate the industry."

The industry management had stopped cement production from last October 15, saying that equipment needs to be repaired. He said that it took time for maintenance because workers had to be brought from India to make industrial equipment. "We don't have any shortage of raw materials," President Bhandari said, "We have about 400 metric tons of coal available for the industry."

He says that there will be no problem of coal as the process of purchasing more coal has already started. The industry was closed two months ago due to lack of funds. President Bhandari said that the industry started producing cement from the third week of this August and produced 65,000 sacks of cement during this period. The industry was established in 2033 at Lamsure in Hetauda and started producing cement from 2043.
