The number of companies in the pipeline of Nepal Securities Board for initial public offering (IPO) in the capital market has reached 80.
Similarly, the board said that 6 companies that have been listed after issuing the IPO of securities are in the process of additional issue of securities (FPO) to increase their capital. According to the
board, a total of 49 billion 483 million 49 thousand 596 worth of IPO is in the pipeline. 349 million 1 thousand 80 shares of 80 companies in different sectors are in the process of the board for IPO.
Seven companies in the hotel and tourism sector have applied to issue an IPO of 353,600,000 shares worth 3.31 billion 10 million. In addition, 40 hydropower projects are in the process of the board to issue IPO worth 16 billion 413 million 79 thousand 400 16 million 36 million 5 thousand 464 shares. Three companies under the
investment group are in the pipeline to issue 156,735,000 IPO worth 2 billion 8433350 thousand. In terms of production and processing, 15 companies are in the process of IPO issuance of 90 million 1675 thousand 684 shares worth 22 billion 684 million 47 million 76 thousand 696.
According to the Securities Board, the maximum number of 40 companies have applied to the board for IPO issuance towards the hydropower group. Sanima Hydropower Limited, Him Star Energy Company Limited, Bhujung Hydropower Limited, Daramkhola Hydro Energy Limited, Sanvi Energy Limited, Beni Hydropower Limited and other companies are in the pipeline for IPO issuance.
Similarly, companies such as Yamaling Hydropower Limited, Mabilung Hydropower Limited, Solu Hydropower Limited, Taksar Pikhuwa Khola Hydropower Limited, Vikas Hydropower Company, Kalinchok Hydropower Limited are in the IPO pipeline. IPOs of seven companies under the
hotel and tourism group are in the pipeline. In this group, Apex Hospitality Limited, Hotel Forest Inn Limited, Arcade Holdings Limited, Annapurna Cable Car, Bandipur Cable Car & Tourism Limited, Akama Hotel Limited, Thamel Plaza Hotel & Sweets Limited are in pipeline for IPO issue. Varun Investments Limited, Sid Energy Limited and Shivam Holdings Limited are bringing IPO towards
investment group. The IPO of 15 companies is in the pipeline towards manufacturing and processing group. Accord Pharmaceuticals Limited, SY Panel Nepal Limited, Surya Cement Industries Limited, Maruti Cements Limited, Smart Doors Limited, Palpa Cement Industries Limited, Om Megashree Pharmaceuticals Limited and other companies are coming up for IPO. Similarly, Lakshmi Technoplast Limited, Shree Distillery Limited, Sopan Pharmaceuticals Limited, Bhugarbha Cement Limited, Riddhisiddhi Cement Limited, Sagar Distillery Limited and Ambe Steels Limited are preparing for IPO.
Towards microfinance group, Swastik Microfinance Financial Institution Limited is under consideration in the board for IPO issuance. Similarly, Crest Microlife Insurance Limited, Nepal Micro Insurance Company Limited, Protective Micro Insurance Company Limited and Star Micro Insurance Company Limited have applied to the board to issue an IPO in the field of micro insurance.
10 other group companies are in the IPO pipeline. Trade Tower Limited, Kantipur Television Network Limited, Dis Media Network Limited, IME Limited, Hospital for Advanced Medicine and Surgery (Haems Hospital) Limited, Peer Energy Limited, Nepal Broadcasting Channel Limited, Kailash Helicopter Service Limited, Chayadevi Complex Limited and Business Interests Group of Industries is bringing IPO.
