The budget for the next financial year has been passed by the House of Representatives. In Tuesday's meeting of the House of Representatives, the proposal to pass the appropriation bill (budget) put forward by Finance Minister Barshman Pun was passed by a majority.

Deputy Speaker Indira Rana, who was conducting the meeting, announced that 'Appropriation Bill 2081 was passed by majority'.

In the House of Representatives, with the completion of the quarterly discussion under the Appropriation Bill, 2081, the expenditure reduction proposals put forward by the parliamentarians were presented for decision .

In the allocation for various ministries, 31 parliamentarians proposed a reduction in spending . which have been rejected by the majority . Expenditure by MP Prem Suwal, Amresh Kumar Singh, Badri Prasad Pandey, Rama Koirala, Sanjay Kumar Gautam, Ajay Kumar Chaurasia, Rajendra Kumar KC, Surendraraj Acharya, Jeevan Pariyar, Dilendra Prasad Badu, Bina Lama, Rupa Vick, Gyan Bahadur Shahi and Shanti Vick on various headings of Appropriation Bill, 2081 Proposed a reduction .

Similarly, parliamentarians Roshan Karki, Nagina Yadav, Tejulal Chaudhary, Maina Karki, Rajendra Bajgain, Dhavalshamsher Jabara, Ramhari Khatiwada, Muktakumari Yadav, Rajendra Prasad Lingden, Shyam Kumar Ghimire, Widhik Tamang, Hridayram Thani, Udayashamsher Rana, Pradeep are among those who put forward a proposal to cut expenses. Paudel, Chanda Chaudhary, Dhruva Bahadur Pradhan and Pushpa Bahadur Shah were there. The proposals of all of them to cut expenses have been rejected by the majority.   

The appropriation bill was presented for decision after the majority rejected the proposal to cut spending. 

In Tuesday's meeting of the House of Representatives, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal answered questions raised by MPs on the allocation of the Office of the President, the Office of the Vice President, the Office of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers, and the discussion on the allocation for ministries, offices and agencies was over. 

The discussion on various ministries, offices and agencies under the Appropriation Bill continued in the House of Representatives from June 29th. 

On May 15, Finance Minister Pune presented the government's budget for the next financial year at the joint meeting of the federal parliament, which is worth 18 trillion 60 billion 300 million.
