Remittance inflow has increased by 19.8 percent till the end of March of the current financial year. According to the 9-month data published by Nepal Rastra Bank, the remittance inflow is 10 trillion 82 billion 62 billion rupees.

From July to March of the current financial year, the number of Nepalis who took the final labor approval (institutional and individual-new) for foreign employment has reached 329 thousand 422. Rastra Bank has informed that the number of people who took labor permit again is 212,721. 

During the 9 months of the current financial year, the current balance is 3 trillion 65 billion 16 million rupees and the current account  1 trillion 79 billion 48 crores is in savings, according to the National Bank.

The total foreign exchange reserves which were equal to 15 trillion 39 billion 36 crores at the end of last June reached 19 trillion 11 billion 86 crores by the end of last March, according to the Rastra Bank .

Foreign exchange reserves will cover 15 months of goods imports and 12.5 months of goods and services imports, according to Rastra Bank.
