Relationships are not only emotional but also complex. Later on, if the relationship is not as strong as it can be managed, it can be broken. This is a matter that is determined by the situation. And, it is also the legal right of the person to break the relationship.

Artists Vishnu Sapkota and Elina Chauhan had to suffer the same fate. Their relationship got divorced last May. Their relationship did not last even 9 months . After the difficult situation in the relationship, they put a full stop to the relationship.

After the divorce, Elina wrote a status on Facebook addressing 'Dear Vishnu'. In that status, she has described the marriage. She mentioned that seven feras, bangles, vermilion, Lagangantho, wedding registration are all the same, and emotional union, mutual trust and understanding are the main life of marriage. 

She said that there was a complete break in her relationship in a short period of time and that from this day on, she was free to decide her destiny legally. Unable to bear her pain, she stayed with her family for a few days and returned to regular work. 

A few days after the divorce, she received sympathy from relatives, well-wishers and Nepali society. Everyone said, "Whatever you did, you did it right." It gave him courage. He got some enthusiasm to continue his work .

After he returned to regular work, the situation reversed . The relationship he put a full stop started to be quoted . Be it a media person or a social media user, everyone started making various comments linking her to her old relationship. Arrows of questions started shooting continuously about the same relationship . This type of social behavior started disrupting his normal daily life again.

Society's anti-social behavior

Alina Chauhan has been showered with insults on social media for some time now. Let's say that the society is digging on him . On the other hand, some YouTubers and media persons are also criticizing him by citing the same old relationship. They are putting the 'divorce tag' on him and are causing pain. They are people of this society. However, they are doing anti-social behavior . Such rude comments about a person's relationship on social media show how low the level of awareness of people is in the digital world. 

Instead of making it easy for Elina, who is trying to live a new life after divorce, this digital society is insulting her and saying that only Elina got divorced and this is a crime. 

If you look at men who abuse on social media, you know that they are exposing themselves . According to the laws of Nepal, it is a crime to make unnecessary comments about someone's personal life at the public level. However, they themselves are displaying such behavior that they have taken the responsibility of purifying the society. 

We all know that Nepali society is discriminatory. There is no question when a person who has a wife at home has two/four girls around outside . Some consider them brave 'men'. Not only that, some men are even found to recite the number. However, women are subjected to many insults even if they make friends only by talking to other men. This should be considered as a misfortune of our society where women are bound by many rules . No matter what men do, women are put down by saying, "Son is not a man, it will be a little bit!". And those who question such distinctions are rare. Even the media has not been able to ask as many questions about such matters. Because this is not the product of society, but also the media!

The main question is, does anyone have the right to live freely in this society? Although the law has given this right, no one has been able to enjoy it in social practice. Moreover, it is difficult for women to enjoy such a right in a male-dominated society like ours. Not only Elina, every divorced woman is free to live a dignified life . But the alleged social reformer who took the responsibility of protecting our society and dignity has spoken on this matter? Will these accusations be stopped only after the woman responds?

What is this society trying to prove by repeatedly questioning him? What is clear from this is that the rhythm of the society has been broken . Society is a group of people, where the good and the bad are all separated. But for a civilized society, the majority of gentlemen is mandatory. And if the gentlemen do not speak, the opinion of a limited number of narrow people will stink the society. That is why the society is becoming anti-social. And the efforts to make it difficult for the Alinas to live continue .

Elina's resistance

Having suffered the scorn of the society for no reason, Elina is now resisting . She has launched a campaign to raise questions about her character and publicize those who use abusive language. This is his forced fight with the society . And, the most dangerous fight is to fight with the society . She took courage and started this campaign . heroine Rekha Thapa. Singer Samishka Adhikari, who has won a similar war with society, is with her. It is the review that started the resistance of Nepali society. Along with Alina, her  Expressing pain, she is giving a message - life is for you, live openly and marriage is not a bond. Marriage is a social, religious or legal relationship between two people (usually a man and a woman) living together. Marriage creates a new relationship between two families. 

When a man and a woman get married, the relationship between them becomes intimate . Therefore, to keep their marriage relationship strong, husband and wife should communicate openly with each other and show love and be ready to do small things for each other. When they are not faithful to each other, it hurts the relationship of husband and wife deeply . It can break the trust of each other as well as break up the family .

A marriage between two people sharing love, encouragement, intimacy and supporting each other in happiness and sorrow maintains harmony in the relationship . Failure to do so results in divorce. Which is a legal right . And then the constitutional right to live with dignity . For that reason, Elina is now fighting with the society .

The sociology and law of marriage

It is believed that the custom of marriage was started to organize human life in an ideal way. From a traditional point of view, the relationship between men and women was established according to a verbal contract by specifying the time period and the production of children, and after the contract was over, it was customary for both of them to become independent. There are also those who believe that Shwet Ketu, the son of sage Udalak, is credited with establishing the custom of marriage.

Shwet Ketu's mother, after the contract with her father is broken, hears an order to leave the meeting when someone tries to forcefully drag her mother away, feeling insulted. And, he studies about why this happened, then after it became known to him, it is believed that a man and a woman should live together, that marriage is necessary, it should be done, and a rule was made and the practice started. 

At present, marriage methods are different according to their religion, culture, caste and geography. Marriage is not a bond, it is only a means to save creation. So far, marriage has been clearly defined in the new legal system . According to section 68 of the Civil Code 2074, marriage is an irrevocable social bond.

Article 68(1) defines marriage as a sacred social and legal bond between a man and a woman based on a permanent, irrevocable and free consent established for commencing conjugal and family life . Marriages are legally classified according to the concept of traditional, registered, gandharva or love marriage. There are many types of marriage process, but what kind of marriage is recognized by law and what kind of marriage is not legally recognized, annulment is clearly provided in the Civil Code.
