I would like to give an example on the question of how to create a premium destination. If we look at an international airline, they have first, business and economy class. It means that everyone is generally in the same place. It means that a country brings more revenue when everyone is combined.
How do people come? Who comes? Looking at that, it is called in the tourism business - segmentation, targeting and positioning . How? Which target is a matter of premium in tourism . For example, a person comes to Pokhara by chartered plane and takes a helicopter and stays in Sinthamani. He likes to live close to the mountains . No one to contact at the same time . Such people are also coming. I learned from the news that Bill Gates' family had come.
But again, if we look at the premium segment, a famous Hollywood director, Sven Pilberg, came. He lived by the lakeside a long time ago . A few years ago he came again . It seems that we have been branding Nepal's tourism for a long time through famous celebrities from outside. But we're not the best at it .
Indian actors and producers have a hand in making Switzerland famous. We can also do branding that way . If we want Indian tourists, we have to bring Indian influencers. Similarly, if you have to bring Chinese tourists, you have to bring Chinese influencers. Who are we trying to bring? What do we want? If we know that, we can come and get it.
We are selling the story of tourism but it is only about climbing the mountains . Our culture and natural resources are . To give an example, I am an Indian female citizen. I have two days off. If Saturday and Sunday are off, I will try to travel on three holidays, adding Friday. Let's look around us when trying to travel . Can I come to Nepal now? Can I come to Nepal and go to Janakpur alone? Can I hike alone ? Can I come to Kathmandu and Pokhara and go clubbing alone in the evening? These questions can be done in Nepal. All these can be done in Nepal for the free and brave class. Is this a story about security? Can we do all this in India, Bangladesh and Pakistan? But we can do it in Nepal. One of my Chinese friends is a famous vlogger. Came to Nepal and visited Punhil, Janakpur and Kathmandu alone.
Another thing, what kind of story should we tell? I wanted to get married . An Indian may ask if you want to get married on the side of a mountain. I wanted to have a destination wedding (destination wedding) by looking at the mountains. Pokhara is a suitable place for this. Cliff, the story of Mountain Glory we have been able to tell ?
