Since the Sherpa community lives in the mountainous terrain, they are used to the environment and lifestyle there. So from the early days they worked on mountain climbing. From time to time, it became so much that anyone who works in the mountains was also called Sherpa. Even now we are being asked if you are Sherpas before we run a trekking company.
However, people of any caste, class and region can climb the mountain. Recently, a 14-year-old Nani from India has set a record by climbing the mountains of all seven states. Therefore, the people of the region can also climb the mountains . Just give opportunity . If given the opportunity to work
, more women can work in the adventure trekking sector . The number of women in this field has decreased due to lack of opportunities. There is a training center in Kathmandu. That mechanism has not been expanded . It is said to build a training center in Manang in Gandaki. However, it is not decided when. Gurkha's Purnima Shrestha has also set records by climbing mountains including Everest many times.
Nepal has been classified into different fields and categories for work. It's not right . Mountains are connected to all the seven provinces of Nepal. That is why mountain climbing training centers had to be established in all provinces. Although Pokhara has various skill and training centers related to tourism.
Although the potential of tourism in Nepal is abundant, the state has not been able to get that benefit due to the lack of development and expansion of that area. Tourism is the key to development. Everyone knows this. But why are we consuming to develop and expand this area . Can't understand that? If the development of this sector is expanded with priority, it will contribute to the overall economic development of Nepal. In recent years, very little snow (black snow) has been falling in the mountains of Pokhara region. But even though it is said that the reason for this is that Nepal is external to Nepali, it is not true. We also have a responsibility in this .
We are saying that it is not our fault that the mountains are damaged. But we are making big structures near the mountains. Therefore, it is our fault that the mountains are now without snow. Meditate on it.
In the tourism sector, more women and sisters should be given the opportunity to be employed in the tourism sector. Even now, air accidents in the Himalayan region have not been rescued in time. Some of them are concentrated in Kathmandu. There is a lack of skilled manpower for rescue . It is also necessary to decentralize existing resources.
