Why is the education, skills and knowledge that we are studying not enough to get government jobs and create jobs within the country? Why are young people migrating abroad every day?

The past year has been an exciting one for the South Asian student movement. The anti-reservation movement, which did not satisfy the majority in Bangladesh, not only brought down the power of Sheikh Hasina, but also confirmed the power of the student movement once again.

Initially, the students there only demanded reform of the quota, but when the authorities ignored their demands, the movement took a new form. The entire country came out in support of the student movement. Prime Minister Hasina herself had to seek refuge abroad.

Prime Minister Hasina had to face unexpected resistance while suppressing the student movement, ignoring the students' demands and using force against the movement.

Anura Kumar Dishanayake, a leader who emerged from the student movement in Sri Lanka, took oath as the president this year. Being the first left-wing president in the history of that country, he is another exemplary character of the South Asian student movement.

While the student movement is killing power in these two neighboring South Asian countries, the student movement is slowing down in Nepal. In Bangladesh, both the state power and the party power have bowed down to the student movement, so the exact opposite is happening in Nepal, isn't it? The question is also fair. In this case, to re-awaken the student movement, revolutionary students should be able to think in a new way and decide the way forward.

In addition, the student movement in Nepal has not achieved many historical achievements . No one can deny the extraordinary contribution of the student movement in the social and political transformation of Nepali society. Whether it was the struggle against despotic feudalism or the movement to establish a republic, the revolutionary students fought with their lives.

It is not natural to question the meaning and justification of the student movement in recent years. However, rather than running away from these questions, it is time to reawaken the student movement. And, as the first step in this, All Revolutionary is establishing a new experiment by setting the age limit of 32 years for student leadership.

Now, revolutionary students from all over the country are preparing for the selection of leaders who can show the way to the society promoted by current science technology and AI, full of enthusiasm, action and creativity under the age of 32. Taking into account the age limit imposed by the university on the independent student union, this age limit arrangement made by Akhil Revolutionary is not a common practice.

Also, Tribhuvan University has imposed an age limit of 28 years for the self-reliance elections to be held in its 62 individual campuses and 140 affiliated campuses . But in mainstream student organizations, this kind of practice is new.

Legally, in Nepal, we consider the age group below 15 to 40 years as youth . But in the recent years, our organizations have also produced student leaders up to 45 years old. Those who not only weakened the lively practice of student organizations, but demonized the student movement itself. But now it can be hoped to revive the student movement which has been slowed down by the practice of age limit in student organizations one after the other.

The revolutionary students have to lead it. The next student movement should be able to fulfill the dream of a young person to get a world-class education in his own country and become self-employed. Another major issue today is delivery as per citizen's expectations .

The student movement should now be able to give new ideas and leadership to reawaken the frustration among the citizens due to the inability of the elderly leaders who have exceeded 70 to deliver . The current constitution, built on the foundation of the ten-year people's war and the republican movement, has addressed many of the citizens' expectations. Therefore, for now, the full implementation of the current constitution is an important agenda.

The student movement of the future should be able to speak against the current political leadership that writes in the constitution, but does not show interest in implementing it in practice, but does wrong actions by violating the constitution itself. The Constitution has provided 31 fundamental rights. But the government has not been able to fully implement even the provision of free education to the citizens up to the secondary level.

Even now, the children of the poor and thousands of martyr families have not been able to read. Thousands of children are still deprived of going to school. It is the responsibility of the state. But the responsibility of making the state responsible belongs to the student movement, to the revolutionary students. It is the need of the moment for revolutionary students to find a solution to these and many such issues through dialogue if possible, and if not through street protests.

All the revolutionaries who are using the new age limit to say that the students should lead the student movement should now provide leadership for the defense, implementation and construction of a socialist-oriented society in the country.

As a member of the student organization of the Maoists who freed the people from feudalism by bringing the republic to the country, the revolutionary students should create pressure to implement the republican constitution made on the agenda of the Maoists in practice . For that, revolutionary students should be able to choose a competent leader .

Millions of revolutionary students across the country need to be strongly rounded up on this issue . Moreover, the present era is of science and technology. Now every student's learning and interest has started to focus on the use of technology, including AI.

In this perspective, it is necessary for students to unite the unequal systems of society through a new way of revolution and play a role in building a prosperous society by using not only new ideas, but also technology.

Universities today are like factories producing unemployed people. Why is the education, skills and knowledge that we are studying not enough to get civil servants and create jobs within the country? Why are young people migrating abroad every day? Why isn't an environment being created for young people to work and live happily with their families in the country ? To find answers to these and similar questions, the leadership of the future student movement has to think hard.

Therefore, the first policy of the revolutionary student movement should be to end the privatization, commercialization and mafiaization of education by world imperialism and educational mafias and to fight in the streets against the capitalist education policy taken by the state. Struggling with a clear plan for the implementation of socialist education is the first task of the future leadership.
